Tots Soccer - Spring term 2

Welcome to Richmondshire Pro Player Football Academy! Our Tots Soccer sessions are designed to introduce your young children (ages 2 - 4 years old) to the joys of soccer in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. Here’s what you can expect:

Session Structure:

• Warm-Up: Fun activities like running, hopping, and follow-the-leader to get kids moving.

• Ball Familiarization: Encouraging kids to touch, roll, and gently kick the soccer ball, building comfort and familiarity.

• Skill Introduction: Simple, playful activities to introduce basic dribbling and ball control. Games like dribbling around cones and color games.

• Fun Games : Engaging activities such as Red Light, Green Light, Sharks and Minnows, and Treasure Hunt to reinforce skills through play.

• Mini Matches : Small-sided games (1v1 or 2v2) to introduce the concept of playing with others and basic teamwork.

Parental Involvement:

• Parents are encouraged to participate, especially to support and encourage their children during the activities.

Coaching Approach:

• Our coaches are patient, enthusiastic, and use positive reinforcement. The goal is to make every child feel successful and enjoy their time on the field.

Objectives:

• To help children develop basic motor skills, build confidence, and foster a love for soccer through playful, engaging activities.
